Husband Back to Normal (Acting Dumb Again)
My husband is acting so DUMB that it’s going to give me a freaking heart attack.
He’s already moved to the city where he found his job. So I have been searching the internet for an apartment there. We know the neighborhood where we want to live. Today he dropped an application off to a potential landlord there. He did a good job on that one (WOW). Well, since he’s dropping off an application, it would be logical to search in the area while he’s already there, right? The kids and I need to move there too! We’re paying for 2 places right now–it’s called let’s find an apartment FAST.
He says, “Ok! I dropped off the application. I am already at home now.”
I asked, “Were there any other places for rent?”
Husband asks, “Where?”
[Question in my mind: Where could I possibly mean? In Africa? Of course, in the city where he just applied for an apartment. What the heck is even happening right now?]
See, my heart is palpitrating right now. It’s been doing this for three days. When answers get as dumb as “Where?” my heart can’t handle it. If you find this blog in two years and there are no entries after this month, you’ll know what happened. My husband will have killed me by giving me a heart attack. From shock at how dumb he acts sometimes.
