Husband, Please No More You-Tube Videos
My husband and I send IM’s to each other all day long because we both work at the computer. I like IM’ing, but I am not an expert. Mostly I email or talk on the phone.
In my mind, IM’s need to be quick. Pop up, read, reply, good bye. But I guess my husband gets to relax at work because he sends me at least 5 You-Tube videos a day. I kid you not, I have never watched one of them.
I don’t want to be mean. But I’m not big on You-Tube while I’m working all day. (Okay, okay, cruising the Internet all day. ) Then he gets all irritated when he later discovers I didn’t watch one of the videos during a conversation on the topic. Of course, I can’t foresee this as we talk because I don’t even know what the topics of the videos are. I see the You-Tube link and move right along to something different.
Yeah, so, he gets all annoyed with me. The thing is, I have NEVER watched ONE. So, it’s odd that he keeps (1) sending them, (2) assuming I watch them, and (3) acting all surprised when he accidentally finds out I didn’t watch one of them.
I do realize that this is a boring post. But let me use this opportunity to tell you how FUNNY the videos on my site are!!!! Look at my videos to the right–I get nothing when people watch them (to my knowledge–again, I’m not big on Internet videos). Luke Wilson is my all-time favorite actor, so funny, so hot, yet so next-door hot neighbor looking. But the video about the writer on strike–SO FUNNY. It starts slow, but totally hilarious–about a spoiled, but FUNNY wife played by Christina Applegate.
