I think you’re right! I did read something a long time ago about a movie and the Mayan calendar–it was probably this one!

I haven’t heard of 2012, but I’m willing to bet it’s got something to do with the theory that the Mayan’s predicted (supposedly) the world ending on 12/21/2012 because that is when their calender ends and it’s also when we experience a shift in the magnetic poles.

Good for hubby though!
