10th Anniversary…Can’t Believe It

Wow, my husband and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. Things were difficult when we first got married. For a while, I was pretty sure we wouldn’t make it this long!

Right before my husband and I got married, my cousin James called me and said he was driving to Tennessee. He asked me if I wanted to go.

I did. So I clearly remember driving through the mountains and listening to the song “Looks Like We Made It” by Shanaiah Twain. I remember thinking “Wouldn’t it be good if I could look back one day and say that about my husband and me?”

I love that song so much.  And my husband–with all of his quirks–has made my life so exciting, warm, and content. I don’t know what I would do without this remarkable man.
