Adam Lambert–Outrageously Hot!
Does everyone know who Adam Lambert is? If not, let me have the pleasure of acquainting you with the most wonderful contestant ever to set foot on the stage of “American Idol,” ever to grace the cracked LCD screen of my ridiculously gigantic television, ever to make me actually want to buy a CD by an American Idol contestant…Meet Adam Lambert.
I don’t want to ruin his charm, but if you haven’t yet seen him, this scary little metaphor will really help you envision his appearance–which, despite the metaphor, is simply…heavenly. So who does this guy resemble? Well, if Elvis, Boy George, and the lead singer from the Cure had a child together–this child would look just like Adam Lambert.
Adam’s voice, however, sounds like none of the above. His vocals actually sounds a lot like Axl Rose (former lead singer of Guns-n-Roses, as I’m sure you already knew). Adam has a LOT more energy and innocence than Axl…but then, who doesn’t? He also has a more punkish style, black fingernails, and guyliner, none of which ever really appealed to me, neither on man nor woman, but all of which I’m suddenly finding quite alluring.
Adam is quite strange–in fact, many people on the Internet are saying he gives them “the creeps.” But it can’t true–surely they are just saying that to get attention. There is no way this young beautiful, though admittedly weird in a sexy way, lad could give anyone the creeps. No, he isn’t capable of that.
He is wonderful. Of course, you’d never, ever want to be married to him. Whether or not he wins “American Idol” (which he most likely will, though there is Danny Gokey to contend with), he will have a record deal, and it will sell millions. Therefore, within one year, Adam will have 10 girlfriends at all times (or boyfriends if the rumors about him are true). Also, he’s way too cool for school. You can’t marry guys who are too cool for school.
But you sure can watch them sing. There is something outrageous and incredibly entertaining about Adam Lambert’s performances. Usually outrageous performances are uncomfortable and irritating. But not this guy’s. Adam is rocking the USA right now. Can’t wait till tomorrow. He’ll get voted on and then he’ll sing his victory song–can’t wait!!!
Please, if there are American Idol viewers out there–tell me, does Adam give you the creeps? Or is he outrageously wonderful?

I’ve tried to be open minded about Adam’s singing abilities, but I really don’t get it. He is a performer, that is for sure, but I really don’t like to be screamed at. I also think he is way too erotic when he sings. It’s like he’s going to lick the camera or something. For those young ladies who don’t know, Adam is boldly gay. That means he likes other men, he doesn’t like girls, get over him!
I think Adam is a super talent. I put his talent in a class with Elvis. This guys has a great-great voice and he is an outstanding performer on stage. I would like to hear him sing one Pressley’s songs before the show wraps up this year. He certainly is at the top of the heap in this year’s or any other year’s competition. Regardless of how the final voting goes, this guy is it and will make millions with his future records and tours.

It’s true. He is THE most exciting performer ever to set foot on the American Idol stages. He is a true entertainer, knows exactly how to use what he’s got and thrills just about everybody time after time. I just don’t think anyone can deny him. He’s just so entertaining and INTERESTING that whether America can take him being gay or not, it may not matter.
And what makes him all the more ‘adorable’ is that he’s humble. His performance attitude may be all sex and swagger, but once the performance is over he’s just as innocent and filled with anticipation as the next contestant. His confidence is in his ability and he keeps the tempered amount of attractive arrogance to the performance only. Once done, he looks like a sweet boy. He’s polite and eager to learn. He’s a puppy.
But once the music is his… he’s a wildcat.
I thought about ELVIS as soon as I seen ADAM, I wondered if anyone else did. I too want to see him sing an ELVIS song. Something slow and sexy. I am strangely attracted to ADAM and cant get enough of him. He is so sexy looking but at times he looks like a little boy. Anyway his eyes kill me. I want to see idol in person so I can see him. His performances go by so fast I cant see enough of him. Everyone else sucks. I knew he was the one from his first audition. Love him!!!

Adam is super talented, but as an actor/b’way singer type, not an “Idol” type at all. He does great by pretending to be the character of each week’s theme, but he just never comes across as Authentic-Adam. I have to admit when he sang “Mad World” he blew me away because it was just him, still and not acting, using his great voice to get the job done. Otherwise, I think he often looks like Frankenstein and just gives me the creeps. I will bet he doesn’t win.
Oh my god. I am completely obsessed with Adam. He’s the first contestant I’ve truly liked, and now I can’t stop listening to his performances online. I, personally, love the nail polish-eyeliner look for guys and always have. Adam gets my vote!

Yes, I admit I have the HOTS for him too. There ought to be a law because he makes me want to break all the rules! My husband says I like him because he is a good looking guy. This is a true statement, but there is so much more than the man’s looks. His singing and speaking voice are beautiful. I have downloaded most of his songs on Itunes and videos too. My gosh his vocals are clear and flawless. There is so much emotion in his performances and you feel his soul. Maybe I sound wierd, but that is what Adam does to me. There hasn’t been a performer for me of his caliber in years!!! LOVE LOVE ADAM!!! He is not creepy at all and does not offen me when he performs on American Idol. I don’t think he sounds a lot like Axel Rose. I think he sounds like Sebastian Bach in Skidrow!

Actually, you’re right. I wrote that post early in the American Idol season when he performed “Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” After that, he sounded a lot less like Axel.
Adam Lambert got a very powerful voice that should have been enough for him to win American Idol. unfortunately, he did not win.
Adam Lambert is a very talented singer and i admire most of his performance. i wish that he had won the American Idol contest though.
Adam Lambert is a very good performer, me and my boyfriend voted for him on American Idol. So many in the business have really noticed Adam. Given his talent, I would guess Adam will be someone many will want to work with, but he is a highly creative artist and won’t slip into someone elses shoes for long.
